Welcome to the Mid Carolina Region The Mid Carolina Region is made up of 10 county EMS systems and thirteen hospitals. Representatives from these agencies serve on the Regional Disaster Preparedness Committee which develops strategies to bring together the collective assets of the region in response to a disaster. These stakeholders also provide support to three State Medical Assistance Teams and partner with a number of other response agencies.
