Hurricane Season 2012 Information posted on this page is intended for regional personnel in support of the Regional and State Medical Response Systems and should not be used for any other purpose. NOAA Weather Briefings 
Our Mission Our mission as a region is to bring together and utilize our collective assets in response to an event. In response to a hurricane, this might entail the deployment medical support shelters, acute care field medical stations, responder rehab stations, or support of other requests from our partners in an affected area. We accomplish our mission as a healthcare community through participation with the Mid Carolina Disaster Preparedness Committee, and as individuals through membership on the Mid Carolina State Medical Assistance Team or Medical Reserve Corps. Registration of Regional Personnel Personnel interested in supporting regional efforts need to register in ServNC with the Mid Carolina State Medical Assistance Team II or Medical Reserve Corps.  |
